The PKU and OTHER HEREDITARY METABOLIC DISORDERS Foundation, is registered in the Registry of Foundations with registration number 3093 and with a resolution date on November 19, 2018.

It is subject to the Protectorate of Foundations of the Generalitat of Catalonia, a body that must take care of so that the foundational purposes, the legal provisions and the statutes of the foundations are fulfilled and so that the foundational will is respected. All this according to the third book of the Civil Code of Catalonia regarding legal persons. Furthermore, in accordance with current legislation, the Foundation is accountable annually to the Department of Health, the Department of Labor, the Audit Office and the General Audit of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
